FloTex hosted the students and instructors of the Riviera Beach Maritime Academy. The morning began with a detailed discussion of the high performance carbon, glass, and other innovative fiber architectures offered by FloTex, as well as the associated applications of these fabrics. The facility tour provided hands on knowledge about the manufacturing equipment, technical expertise, and capacity and how it relates to applications the Maritime Academy students may encounter as they pursue careers in the marine industry. It was clear to see the student’s enthusiasm and excitement about the future of composites. FloTex is committed to supporting the local community as it continues to grow its fiberglass and carbon fiber offering to local boat builders.
